Lake Sevan

Lake Sevan is a true wonder and one of the high-altitude lakes in the world; it is 1900 m above the sea level and is the largest lake in Caucasus. The most delicious fish of Sevan is trout or “Ishkhan” as locals call it. There is a special trout farm where the fish is grown for Armenian cuisine gourmet meals. Sevan possesses unique charm, turquoise water, clear sky, breathtaking landscapes and numerous temples will stay in the memories of the visitors for a long time.
