DAY 1
CITY TOUR YEREVAN
Transfer (airport-hotel) - Hiking overview - Dinner (national cuisine)
Transfer to hotel.
Short rest.
The program starts with hiking overview around Yerevan. Modern Yerevan will surprisе tourists with its diverse architecture. You will apreciate the sights of "pinc city" - Yerevan: (Republic Square, North Avenu, Opera and Ballet Theatre and open-air museum - Cascade.)
Dinner at the restaurant with traditional cuisine.
DAY 2
ECHMIADZIN - ZVARTNOC
Trip to "City of Churches" and Zvartnots (VII c.)
Breakfast.
The program starts with a trip to Vagharshapat. Visit on of the twelve anciant capitals of Armenian Kingdom -Echmiadzin (Etchmiadzin Cathedral and Surb Gayane).
Trip to Zvartnots Cathedral (celestial angels) which was destroyed by earthquake in X century. The ruins of tample still remain impressive.
Return to Yerevan
DAY 3
GARNI - GEGHARD
Trip to a unique carved into the rock cave monastery Geghard (VII-VIII c.). Trip to Garni Temple.
Breakfast
The program starts with a trip to Gegardavanq monastery.
The name of monastery originates from the spear which had wounded Jesus at the Crucifixion. Now it is displayed in the Echmiadzin treasury.
Trip to Garni Temple (Third century B.C.) - Аrmenian kings summer residnce. It is the only known Hellenistic building in Armenia and the only pagan building in the former Soviet Union.

DAY 4

DAY 3
KHOR-VIRAP - NORAVANK - ARENI - TATEV
Trip to magnificent monastery - Khor Virap (XII c.) with views to the mountain Ararat. Areni vine factory. Trip to Noravank monastery. Tatev monastery and cableway "Wings of Tatev"
Breakfast.
The program starts with a trip to Ararat valley.
Visit Khor-Virap monastery. The name of monastery originates from the "deep pit". In that catacomb was imprisoned the head of Armenian church Grigor Lusavorich. The castle walls overlooks the biblical mount Ararat.
Trip to Noravank.
Trip to Areni village. Since ancient times the place is knowan as a center of vinemaking. Areni wine factory tour. There you will taste some vine.
Tatev monastery (IX c.) and the longest reversible cabeleway in the world (5752 m), recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Overnight in Goris.
DAY 5
RETURN TO EREVAN
Dinner at the restaurant with traditional cuisine.
DAY 6
SEVAN - NORATUS - SEVANAVANK
Trip to one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world - Sevan. "Khkachkar Cemetery". Visit Sevanavank monastery (IX c.)
Breakfast.
The program starts with a trip to region Gegarkunik to the lake Sevan. Sevan is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world at an altitude of 1,950 m (6,234 ft) above sea level. Sevanavank is a monastic complex located on a peninsula at the northwrstern shore of the lake.
A Trip to the village Noratus where is a medieval cemetery with a large number of early khachkars. Khachkar is a carved, memorial stele bearing a cross (cross-stone).
Return to Yerevan
DAY 7
Breakfast.
Check out at 12:00
Transfer to airport.
Breakfast at the hotel and Go to Etchmiadzin, the religious center of Armenia. The Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin is one of the most ancient and beautiful examples of Christian architecture. A visit to the ruins of Zvartnots Temple (7th c.), which was considered to be one of the tallest buildings of its time (49m). Back to Yerevan and free time to explore Yerevan.
